The Testimonial Style Review
NOTE: This is a fictitious name and a fictitious review. It is in no way an actual review of the program, but is rather given here as an example of how you to write and structure a testimonial review. This is meant to be a template. PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE
The Testimonial review works well for people who are very interested, but need a little extra push. It uses their emotions to get them to click, and is extremely successful in getting click throughs. Please only use this personal review style if you have a success story to tell about your weight loss or you know somebody who does.
Below is how you should structure your testimonial review.
1. Headline. This is the most important part of any review because it will get the reader interested in reading more. If they never make it past the headline, you could write solid gold and they'll never see it. Think about this long and hard and keep a few points in mind. You must convey emotions and create imagery so that the reader can actually picture your weight loss in their head. Anything that helps them create a good mental picture is fantastic. You should also use specifics, such as how much weight you lost and in how much time. Timeframes are great headlines for weight loss products. (ie "I lost 20 lbs in 20 Days" or "I lost 95 lbs of pure fat in only 6 months" etc.)
2. The Testimonial. Most testimonials follow a similar format. This is as follows:
-Talk about what life was like before you lost your weight. Convey to them how miserable and uncomfortable you were before you started using The 20/20/20 Diet.
-You've tried before, but nothing worked. Explain how frustrated you were to keep trying but not get any results until you found The 20/20/20 Diet.
-Talk about what your life is like now that you've successfully reshaped your body with The 20/20/20 Diet.
3. Include Before and After Pictures. This is what has sold me in the past, and it is usually what will make the difference between someone just clicking on the review and leaving, or reading the review and going on to the sales page. Even if the pictures aren't that good, they can make you money. Put them at the top of the page and/or at the bottom where you suggest they click through with your hoplink.
4. Call To Action. This should be a very personal call to action. With the testimonial review, you want the reader to feel like you are just writing this up to help them out.
Note: The above applies to video testimonials which work even better than written testimonials in some cases. Seeing your face develops trust and comfort for the reader, or viewer, and makes them more likely to click through at your call to action.

How I Went From A Fat Couch Potato Who Tried Every Late Night Infomercial Gimmick Available To Losing over 57 lbs of Pure Fat and Becoming The King Of Friday Night Beach Volleyball!
Today if you met me, you would see a healthy, happy and athletic person, but what you wouldn't know is that just 6 months ago, my life was much different, and I was ready to give up on myself. In fact, it was so bad that just getting up in the morning was wearing on me because I was forced to look at myself in the mirror and feel ashamed of how big I had gotten. No matter how well dressed I was, I still looked awful. I was an unhappy fat guy and everyone could see it.
No matter how well I was doing in other areas of my life, my body got worse and worse, and my physical condition was beginning to bring my life down. I kept telling myself that I was more than just my body, but I still yearned to look and feel the way I knew I deserved.
I felt so low that I would try anything that promised to give me the weight loss I so desperately needed. The problem was, none of it worked and every time I tried and failed, I felt even worse about myself. I felt like nothing but a failure, but I kept trying.
The supplements didn't work like they said, the crazy gizmos were just that, crazy, and the diet and exercise plans left me working out at least an hour every day, leaving me exhausted and feeling horrible. Not to mention, the diets left me starving and having no energy at all.
When I did use my gym membership, I wasn't exactly sure what to do or what would get good results, so I would go in without a plan, just trying machines to build muscles, or more commonly getting on a treadmill and walking or running until I was sweaty and exhausted. I would go in, run, then go home. Sometimes I thought it was working, I would even pose in front of the mirror and convince myself that there were definitely changes, but the truth was, I was still FAT.
Eventually, I was fed up with sweating and getting nowhere, so I stopped going to the gym and decided it wasn't worth it. When I was at my absolute lowest, right when I was ready to give up and stay fat forever, a friend of mine told me about a fat loss program he was using, and told me I should try it out. Well, after spending all that money on a gym membership, fancy machines, diet pills and diet books, I wasn't about to be made a sucker again, so I ignored him, and probably ordered a pizza to be honest. But the next time I saw him, he was thinner. He had lost some weight, and was already starting to look better. I thought, "Sure, he's losing weight now, but he'll gain it back soon, it always comes back." What amazed me is that it didn't come back. I saw him a few weeks later, and he had lost something like 25 lbs of fat and he was looking great. I finally decided that if it was working this well for him, I was going to check it out.
I looked up the program he was using, The 20/20/20 Diet on the internet and decided to buy it. It was a downloadable ebook, and I was glad because that meant I could read it right away and find out if it was another scam or if I could be like my friend. I decided that this was my last push, the last time I'm ever going to try, if this didn't work, I would stay fat forever, it's not worth the hard work to be scammed.
When I read the book, I found out that the author, Ryan M Hall, had also struggled with weight loss, almost his entire life, and had experienced the same pain, shame and anguish I had felt when I looked in the mirror every day. I found out that he had tried all of the diet hoaxes before too, and was able to use this program to lose 95 some odd lbs before writing the book. It made a lot of sense that somebody who has been fat and felt ashamed would be the perfect person to write a book about how it feels and how to change it. After reading his story, I closed the ebook file and went off to bed knowing that I may have just found the solution to my problems. Knowing that Hall did it gave me the hope that I could do it too, with the help of his plan.
I finished the rest of the book along with his exercise book, and my life hasn't been the same since. If I were to tell you that my whole body has been changed, I would be lying, because it's not just my body. My whole life has been changed by the information I found in this book. Things I never dreamed I would be able to do before are now normal hobbies for me. I am able to enjoy kayaking, hiking, and bike rides, not to mention, I can take my shirt off on the volleyball court without feeling ashamed. I never thought I would have been able to do that in a million years!!!
At first, I was a little worried that the diet was too boring, but after I got the hang of changing my eating habits, I tried new recipes and really started to enjoy the food and it got easier. The best part of this program is that it takes you by the hand and shows you step by step exactly what to eat and when so that you can get maximum fat loss. I didn't have to make any crazy changes, or do anything drastic, I didn't even have to spend more than an hour a week in the gym, it was all just a matter of making little adjustments in my life that added up to BIG weight loss.
The 20/20/20 Diet isn't really a diet program, it's a new way to live. It's not like I had to change everything that I liked either, I still get to eat my favorite foods, and even though one of them is deep dish pizza, it still helps to increase my metabolism! I ate waaaay more than I ever did on any other diet I tried, and none of them told me to go order a pizza. I never thought I had what it took to follow a rapid fat loss program because they usually require you to starve yourself or workout several hours a day, and I never had that kind of discipline, but this diet has been a breath of fresh air for me. I had been lazy in the past, and I was always looking for a quick fix, but this gave me everything. I got fast weight AND lasting weight loss without harming my body or running on a treadmill for hours.
There is a lot of hype and plenty of worthless diet plans that overpromise and under deliver, I know, I've tried most of them! The bottom line is, The 20/20/20 Diet really worked, and I would recommend it to anybody trying to lose weight. Especially if you are like me, and you have been trying for a long time without any success. I lost 57 lbs and, looking back it has been a breeze. What's more, some people have lost even more weight, losing upwards of 100 lbs or more with this diet book. Go to http://www.202020Diet.com to read more about the diet and see more stories of people who have lost weight with The 20/20/20 Diet. I wish you the best, Good Luck!
