6 Steps to Git Rid of Belly Fat

There are plenty of “magic” products pills, potions, and exercise thingy majiggy’s that promise to git rid of belly fat fast. Most of these things turn out to be fad diets, gimmicks, scams, and they just plain don’t work. So if none of the stuff you see on TV or at the stores is going to burn through your stomach fat, what will?
Here are a few things to remember when trying to git rid of belly fat.

1. Belly fat doesn’t disappear overnight. In fact, belly fat is often the most stubborn and hard to get rid of on all of your body. This is because as you lower your total body fat, your fat cells still store many of their nutrients in the stomach area. It is possible to git rid of belly fat, but remember, reducing your stomach bulge takes time.

2. Cardio is good, but don’t forget to tone those muscles up. If you want to flatten your stomach and burn the fat, then you have to start doing resistance exercise to build muscle. Don’t just focus on your abs. Tone up your whole body and your stomach flab will shrink much faster.

3. Do crunches, whole body crunches and bicycles to strengthen your core. Not only will this build your stomach muscles for when your body fat is lowered, it will help give you strength in everything you do.

4. If you’re not able to, or not willing, to join a gym, get out and walk, run, jog, play with the kids, or if you don’t have kids or a pet, just get out and walk. Many people pass the time and weight by walking quickly for a few laps around the mall, you could just step out the front door, assuming it’s not blocked by snow, and get some exercise. The important thing is to just do it.

5. Get a plan and a planner. If you don’t have a specific exercise and diet plan to help you reach your goals, it’s going to be a lot harder to get there. There are tons of weight loss books on the market and many of them actually work. They usually provide plans as well as meal advice. Find one and stick to it.

6. Finally, DON’T GIVE UP.  You CAN do this, as long as you keep at it. If you give up, you’ll never get there.

You can git rid of belly fat no matter what your situation, but remember, it takes dedication and time. It’s up to you how quickly you change your diet and how much exercise you do to lose the stomach bulge quickly.
