Getting Rid of Belly Fat Below the Waist

If you’ve been dealing with a bulging belly, and have been trying to lose it, you may be wondering if getting rid of belly fat below the waist is even possible. The answer is, yes. It isn’t easy, and there is no magic pill or drink that will do it for you. The only way you’ll ever succeed is diet, exercise and discipline, but if you do it, it will pay off in the way you look and feel every day.
Here are a few steps you should take to succeed:
Get rid of all the junk food in your cupboards. If you’re a snacker, or you have trouble sticking to a diet, then don’t give yourself the choice, just keep healthy food on hand, and you won’t be as tempted to eat the junk. Go all out here, get rid of anything that isn’t going to shrink your tummy.
Eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, boneless skinless chicken breasts, lean beef, turkey, and low fat dairy foods.
Exercise in the morning each day. This isn’t because it’s more effective, but it will start a habit. Run, jog, swim 2-3 times a week.
Do resistance exercises that will build or tone your muscles at least 2 times a week. These will be your biggest help in losing belly fat below the waist. Use dumbbells at home or join a gym to get a more effective workout.
Don’t let yourself get hungry. This is where almost all dieters go wrong. They allow themselves to be hungry, hoping it will result in more weight loss. This absolutely isn’t the case. If you’re hungry, you’ll snack or over eat and often be tempted toward the wrong foods. This will destroy your diet.
Drink water. Drink only water, no sugary drinks, no alcohol, nothing that will put more fat on your stomach. If you want something with flavor, try a diet drink or better yet, have a green tea or coffee to soothe your taste buds.
Getting rid of belly fat below the waist isn’t impossible if you follow these tips. If you hope for some magic solution though, you will find that it doesn’t exist. No matter what a commercial or website might tell you, the only thing that really works is dedication, diet and exercise.
